What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word – it’s pronounced ‘rey-key’. It is a natural healing energy which dates back to 1860 where it was rediscovered by a Japanese professor, Dr Mikao Usui.

Reiki treatments are for anyone to enjoy. They bring calm, relaxation and stress relief – easily!

Reiki brings you a deeper sense of connection and empowerment, helping you to feel more balanced and centred. This wonderful, natural healing is also easy to learn so you can enjoy self healing for life.

Reiki is a natural method of healing, the Reiki practitioner (having been through the appropriate attunement process), can connect to this energy which operates on a higher vibration. In turn, when they give a treatment, the person receiving Reiki will respond on whatever level is right for them, to receive a natural healing. The practitioner does not send the Reiki, but simply acts as the channel for this powerful life energy to be received.

Reiki can be used in many ways, to assist people with a wide variety of emotional, mental and physical issues, or to enable them to develop on a more spiritual level.
